The 3rd graders Skyped with Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Park ranger, Jenny, led the class through the forest as she taught them about the Sequoia trees. The students saw live Sequoias and learned all about how the trees defend themselves, how they keep from toppling over, and the effect forest fires have on them, along with other interesting information.
