5th & 6th Graders Meet Goals for 4th 9-Weeks

The 5th and 6th graders set reading goals in Accelerated Reader for the 3rd nine-weeks.  These goals were based on each student's reading level and the amount of time they planned to read daily.  A drawing for a gift certificate was held at the end of the nine weeks.  Students who met their goals got to have two tickets in the drawing,  students who were on track to achieve their goals at the mid-term were given one ticket for the drawing, and students who were members of the 100 Points Club were given a ticket.  It was possible for a student to have four or more tickets in the drawing if they had been on track at mid-term, achieved their goal at the end of the quarter, and also had reached 100 or more Accelerated Reader points.  The winner of the drawing was Cassie.  She received a $20.00 gift certificate for the Scholastic Book Fair.

Accelerated Reader 100 Points Clubs

These students have read enough to accumulate 100 Accelerated Reader points:  Kristin.  Reese, Jessica, and Zachary.  Amber, Cassie, Dylan and Thad have reached the 200 Point Club.  Anna has reached the 300 Point Club.
